As a foreign national I still have to have an ID card and it won't be scraped ever. I had to return it twice already as they issued it with spelling mistakes each time... so I? am waiting for the 3rd one now! They even have a special line to deal with misspellings. They just can't read the application properly where every letter of a word is a capital one in a separate box for cow's sake! And I had to wait for like 3 months! But you can have in within 24 hours if you pay £15000...
